• Faculty candidates are expected to demonstrate understanding and knowledge of diversity in higher education and challenges faced by underrepresented individuals.
• Assessment committees are asked to rate candidates on awareness, track record and concrete goals and plans they set out with respect to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion.
