Institution Profile: École de Technologie Supérieure

• In 2021, École de technologie supérieure (ÉTS) announced it had signed DORA and that it was one of the first Canadian Universities to do so.
• ÉTS states that in light of signing DORA, the University has begun moving towards recognizing a broad range of academic achievements and outputs, including “pre-publication versions of articles, data sets, software, protocols, training of researchers, social impacts and policy changes that result from research.”
• The ÉTS Dean of research is quoted as saying concrete measures are in place to implement DORA, although these were noted expanded upon in the announcement.
