Summary of Intervention(s) | • A blogpost from 2020 on University of Nottingham, Malaysia’s website sets out why DORA was signed and what the University plans to do to implement its principles.
• The blog states that implementation of DORA principles across its campuses is still work in progress, but that local groups are being established across campuses to audit existing practices and compare them against DORA principles.
• Local working groups are expected to develop and implement action plans, guided by the DORA working group of its parent organization – the University of Nottingham UK.
• The University of Nottingham, Malaysia’s Task and Finish group will then: act to raise awareness of DORA and its recommendations, make recommendations to the University’s Management Board to ensure responsible uses of indicators are reflected in University processes such as academic recruitment and promotion, and ensure ongoing tracking and embedding of DORA principles over time.
