Summary of Intervention(s) | • Nottingham Trent University has produced a Statement of principles for the use of metrics.
• Based on the Leiden Manifesto, the Statement commits research evaluations in the University to abide by these principles, including allowing those evaluated to verify data and analysis, accounting for variation by field in publication and citation practices, and ensuring quantitative evaluation only supports but does not replace qualitative expert evaluation.
• The University commits to having the statement reviewed annually by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Research and Innovation.
