In November 2021, University of Calgary signed the Scarborough Charter on Anti-Black Racism and Black Inclusion. This resource describes UCalgary’s committment to combatting racial biases and systemic racism by recognizing the research excellence of Black faculty and students, and instituting an Equitable and Inclusive Hiring Guide, among a number of other goals and initiatives.
