To help align DORA’s organizational structure with our objective of improving equity, DORA offers adjusted fees for supporting organizations located in “developing economies” and “economies in transition” as defined by the United Nations World Economic Situations and Prospects 2021 annual report. The percentage of dues paid by organizations located in countries within these categories is indicated in Table 1 below. When organizations located in these countries provide support to DORA, their fees will not increase during the term of their agreement with DORA, regardless of whether the country moves to a higher classification. In the event an organization is unable to meet or is having challenges meeting its obligation, there will be an opportunity for discussion with the Program Director to identify solutions. In addition, coalitions of organizations located in “developing economies” and “economies in transition” will also be considered as a single supporting organization to further encourage participation.
